One Afternoon ‘Wu Ji (Infinity Within)’ Series, below, is a collage of highlights and closeups from one October afternoon in Cai’s studio. The works are enamel on canvas, with mops, trowel and paintcan as brushes. These canvases were later transformed into the InTheBox series.
